Prioritization
PreserVenice has developed a proprietary algorithm for determining the restoration priority for each piece in our collection. Based on a variety of factors, ranked by importance, we assign a rank to each of the more than 4,000 objects we have catalogued and can compare them to each other, regardless of type, condition, size, or other factors that would make "eyeballing it" difficult.
Our tool is, of course, used in conjunction with the opinion of a professional restorer. It does, however, provide a trustworthy initial list and allows us to save money and time when pursuing our goals.
